Also, known as the Abode of Lord Jagannath, Puri is a renowned city in the state of Odisha. Our tour package allows visitor to witness the history, religion, architecture, seaside beauty, and one of the renowned pilgrimage world heritage UNESCO sites Konark Sun Temple.
Itinerary
Drive to Puri On arrival at Bhubaneswar, our local tour representative will meet you at the Airport. Later proceed for Bhubaneswar Local sightseeing tour before getting transferred to Puri. En-route visit 108 Shivling temple, Lingaraj Temple, Chausath (64) Yogini temple, Dhauli (the peace pagoda). Later continue your drive to Puri. On arrival, transfer to the hotel for Check-in. Evening is free at own leisure. You may step out and spend some time on the beach & later return to the hotel for a relaxed sleep. Overnight stay at hotel in Puri. Meals - Nil
Today morning take a fill at morning breakfast and proceed for Lord Jagannath darshan at Sri Jagannath Temple and visit Gundicha Temple, Mausima Temple & Bedi Hanuman Temple. Later leave for Chilika Lake (Satapada) which is a famous point to spot the Dolphins. En route visit Alarnath Temple. At Chilika Lake- Take a boat ride (By own cost on direct payment) to meet the Irrawaddy Dolphins in nature and the Hradaya – Sagar Sangam or the sea mouth (the point where the lake meets the sea). Enjoy the day at Chilka Lake (India's biggest inland lake spread over 1,100 square kilometers). Late afternoon, return to Puri and rest of the day to enjoy and relax at the golden beach. Note: At Sri Jagannath Temple - Only Hindus are allowed inside the shrine to offer prayers to the sibling deities in the sanctum sanctorum/ Non-Hindus are NOT allowed. Overnight at Hotel in Puri. Puri - Konark - Bhubaneswar Take a fill at morning breakfast & pack your bags. Check out from the hotel then drive to Konark on a marine drive, en route visit Ramchandi Temple and Chandrabhaga Beach. Later visit the famous Konark Sun Temple called Black Pagoda, the 12th-century temple richly decorated with stone carving, attracts around one lakh devotees every day from all around the world. Later, you will drive to Bhubaneshwar and if time permits visit Nandankanan Zoological Park (Closed on Monday) -This zoo is famous for variety of wildlife & also famous for the white Tiger. Evening, transfer to the hotel, check-in at the hotel and relax. Overnight at Hotel in Bhubaneshwar. Meals - Breakfast
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and will proceed to visit the temple and other places in Bhubaneswar. Visit – Rajarani Temple, Mukteshwar Temple, Parshurameshwaram Temple, Kedar Gouri Temple, Tribal Museum (Closed on Monday). Meals - Breakfast Note: Nandankanan Zoo, State Museum and Tribal Museum remain closed on Monday and on state Holidays.
